The Pinot Grigio Friuli Isonzo Rive Alte DOC Sot Lis Rivis in magnum from Ronco del Gelso displays a restrained, measured profile. Pale straw in color, it offers aromas of green apple, ripe pear and light floral hints; the bouquet remains essential and unexaggerated. On the palate it is fresh and linear, with pleasant sapidity and a balance of acidity and fruit that makes it enjoyable to drink. The texture is clean, with fruity echoes and a dry finish that invites another sip.

It pairs well with seafood starters, simply prepared fish, delicate risottos and fresh cheeses; its freshness also suits vegetable-based dishes. The magnum format is convenient for shared meals as it promotes a steadier progression during service. Serve lightly chilled, around 10–12 °C, and open shortly before serving to preserve freshness.
