The Pinot Nero dell'Oltrepò Pavese DOC "Tavernetto" by Conte Vistarino is a distinctive and refined interpretation of Pinot Noir, an international grape variety that has found in the Oltrepò Pavese region an ideal terroir to express complexity, elegance and character. The Conte Vistarino winery, a pioneer in the cultivation of Pinot Noir in Italy, boasts a long tradition of producing high-quality wines, exploiting the variety of microclimates and soils of their vast estate to produce wines that reflect the richness and diversity of the Oltrepò Pavese.

The "Tavernetto" comes from selected vineyards located in the best plots of the estate, where the climatic conditions and the composition of the soil allow the grapes to ripen perfectly, concentrating their aromas and guaranteeing good acidity. This wine is the result of careful vinification, which aims to preserve the delicate varietal notes of Pinot Noir and enhance its structure and balance.

Fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers to maintain the freshness and purity of the fruit, followed by refinement in French oak barriques which gives the wine aromatic complexity, softness and a subtle tannic streak, without overwhelming the varietal expression.

Visually, the "Tavernetto" presents itself with a delicate but brilliant ruby red color, with garnet reflections which demonstrate its elegance. On the nose, the wine offers a complex and inviting bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and strawberries, enriched by nuances of sweet spices, wet earth and a light balsamic touch, which add depth and refinement to the olfactory profile.

In the mouth, the Pinot Noir "Tavernetto" reveals an extraordinary harmony between vibrant acidity and soft tannins, with a medium structure that supports its expressiveness. The flavors of red fruit blend with notes of spices and wood, in a perfect balance that leads to a long and persistent finish, characterized by a pleasant freshness and a light mineral note.

Ideal in combination with delicate meat dishes, roast poultry, mushroom-based dishes and medium-aged cheeses, the Pinot Nero dell'Oltrepò Pavese DOC "Tavernetto" by Conte Vistarino is a wine that stands out for its elegance and drinkability, offering a tasting experience that reflects the winery's passion and experience in producing high quality Pinot Noir.
