Poggilarca Carmignano DOCG from Artimino in magnum format is a red wine that shows balance and structure. In the glass it opens with ripe red fruit, subtle spice notes and a hint of balsamic character; the aromatic profile remains composed and appealing. On the palate it displays present yet supple tannins, supported by fresh acidity and a persistence that accompanies the sip. The magnum format contributes to a slower evolution, highlighting depth and harmony, suitable for convivial moments or richly flavored dishes.

Versatile for pairings, it matches roasted meats, mushroom-based dishes and robust cheeses; for more delicate dishes adjust portions. For immediate consumption a short decanting can soften tannins and help aromas open. Serve slightly cool relative to room temperature and observe its behavior in the glass; the magnum bottle is also practical for sharing on special occasions.

Winery history
Tenuta di Artimino has its roots in a landscape marked by Etruscan remains and a medieval history. At its center stands the Villa Medicea "La Ferdinanda", designed by Buontalenti for Ferdinando I de' Medici. Over time the villa and estate have become a place of agricultural production and hospitality, with the villa recognized among the Medici Villas inscribed by UNESCO.

Dedicated to promoting the territory and Tuscan tradition, the estate adopts an approach that combines quality, sustainability and innovation: attention to the terroir, vineyard zoning studies and the promotion of wine tourism to convey the connection between wines, olive oil and the landscape.
