Primitivo di Manduria DOC Santera by Leone de Castris is a red wine whose label bears the name of a recognised appellation from Apulia. It is an option for those looking for a red wine associated with Primitivo and seeking clear information about its style and origin. The available product details do not specify a vintage or tasting notes, so its aromas, structure and finish are best assessed in the glass, without assigning it unverified characteristics.

At the table, it can be served with flavourful dishes, roasted or grilled meats, legume-based preparations and medium-aged cheeses. These are pairing suggestions to adapt to the menu and personal preferences. To make the most of it, serve it in a glass suited to red wines and allow it to breathe briefly, checking the guidance on the label. Its stated identity makes it a possible choice for a relaxed dinner with friends or a Sunday meal, when you want to serve a red wine with a clearly indicated origin and a recognisable name. It can also be shared with those who enjoy red wines from Apulia.

Winery history
The Leone de Castris family has been active in viticulture for centuries: the company traces its origins to 1665, when it was founded by Oronzo Arcangelo Maria Francesco dei Conti di Lemos. Today the winery also houses a museum that tells the story of its production and family history.
