The Ribolla Gialla IGP from Ronco dei Tassi is a white wine that fully expresses the typicality of Friuli Venezia Giulia, a region renowned for its high-quality white wines. Made exclusively from Ribolla Gialla grapes, this wine stands out for its lively character and freshness, making it particularly enjoyable on the palate.

In appearance, the Ribolla Gialla IGP has a bright straw-yellow color that foreshadows its fresh and stimulating olfactory qualities. The nose reveals floral and fruity notes, with a particular emphasis on aromas of green apple, pear, and hints of citrus which add a pleasant complexity. These olfactory characteristics are perfectly integrated with a delicate mineral streak, typical of the variety and its terroir.

On the palate, the wine presents a fresh and lively entry, developing into a medium-light body with a balanced texture. Its acidity is well-balanced and supports a long, clean finish, with a return of fruity flavors and a persistent minerality that invites a second sip.

Ronco dei Tassi, known for its dedication to creating wines that reflect the essence of their environment, cultivates Ribolla Gialla using sustainable methods, thereby preserving the authenticity and purity of the fruit.

This Ribolla Gialla IGP is ideal as an aperitif, but also pairs beautifully with light appetizers, fish dishes, and seafood, making it a versatile choice for various occasions. It is best served chilled to fully enjoy its intrinsic qualities.

Grapes: Friulano, Malvasia, Pinot Bianco, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Ribolla Gialla, Picolit, Merlot
Fosarin — the estate’s signature wine, awarded Tre Bicchieri. Located in Cormòns, Collio Goriziano; the name derives from "ronco" and from the presence of yew trees. A broad range of wines, including Fosarin, Cjarandon, Pinot Grigio, Sauvignon, Ribolla Gialla and Picolit. An agricultural philosophy focused on vineyard care and the targeted management of fermentations to preserve typicity.
Winery history
The estate was founded when Fabio Coser, together with his wife Daniela, purchased a property in the heart of the Collio; the name comes from the presence of colonies of badgers and from the vineyards’ typical 'ronco' layout. The winery has grown over the years, becoming a local reference for Collio white wines.
Production philosophy
Quality-focused approach to raw materials: careful attention to vine training systems and frequent vineyard inspections to bring healthy grapes to the winery and allow winemaking that highlights the typicity of the terroir. In the historic blends, ageing in wood and vinification in stainless steel are balanced to achieve complexity without overpowering the fruit.
Terroir and vineyards
Collio Goriziano, in the municipality of Cormòns, at altitudes ranging from approximately 140 to 200 m above sea level; close to the protected Plessiva area, characterized by terraced vineyards and a rich presence of flora and fauna. The territory is fundamental to the style of the wines, with a strong focus on indigenous and international white varieties cultivated in the area.
Awards and recognitions
The Collio Bianco 'Fosarin' has recently received notable accolades, including the Tre Bicchieri in the Vini d'Italia guide and the 'Vino Bianco dell’anno' award at Food & Travel Italia's 2026 Wine Awards.
