A wine produced from grapes of Arneis vines, the only native white berried variety present in the Roero area since the 1400s. Cornarea was the first company to invest in the recovery of this vine which almost disappeared in the early 1970s due to the difficulty of vinify this type of white grape without suitable technologies (the name Arneis in Piedmontese dialect actually means "naughty child"). Today Arneis represents the well-deserved redemption of the Roero wine area.

It has a straw yellow colour. The nose perceives an intense aroma of white flowers, pear, peach, pineapple and passion fruit. The taste is in perfect harmony with the nose but the sensations are amplified, its large structure makes it harmonious and full. The great intensity of the Arneis body is definitely recognizable as well as its persistence, which make it unique. The finish is sapid and mineral, thanks to the presence of magnesium in large quantities in the soil of the Cornarea hill.

An extremely elegant wine, perfect as an aperitif but which goes perfectly with light and delicate dishes such as seafood or vegetable appetizers, dishes based on shellfish and fish in general.
