Let’s talk about Rosso Costa Toscana IGT BIO - Plenum - Tenuta Le Colonne

More questions

The Rosso Costa Toscana IGT BIO - Plenum - Tenuta Le Colonne is an authentic expression of Tuscany's organic viticulture. This red wine is produced by the renowned Tenuta Le Colonne, which has embraced organic farming methods to preserve environmental integrity and ensure the purity of the terroir.

With an intense and deep ruby color, the Plenum reveals a rich and complex bouquet on the nose. Notes of ripe red fruits blend with hints of dark spices and a light touch of vanilla, all derived from careful aging in oak barriques. Its varietal composition includes main Tuscan native grape varieties, contributing to a distinctive and intensely local flavor profile.

On the palate, the wine is robust and well-structured. The tannins are smooth yet present, offering balance and a fine texture that lends itself beautifully to aging. The acidity is well-balanced by the alcohol, creating a harmonious, long, and pleasant finish. Retronasally, spices and a light woody aftertaste re-emerge, showcasing the masterful use of barriques.

The Rosso Costa Toscana IGT BIO - Plenum is ideal to accompany robust dishes like roasted meats, game, and aged cheeses. Its organic nature ensures that every sip faithfully represents its origin territory, a true homage to Tuscany's biodiversity.

Serve at a temperature of 18°C to enhance all its organoleptic qualities. A wine that will not only delight the palate but also bring the pure essence of Costa Toscana to your table.
