In the glass it shows a clear, bright red that reflects the typical tension of Sangiovese: aromas of fresh cherry, small red berries and light floral notes intertwine with hints of sweet spice and a touch of Mediterranean stone. The palate is frank and immediate, dominated by lively acidity that supports the medium body and fine tannins; overall it feels balanced and lean without sacrificing good presence. It can be enjoyed now but has the substance to gain harmony with a few years in bottle.

On the palate, its sapidity and aromatic clarity make the wine very versatile at the table: it accompanies cured meats and traditional first courses, roasted white meats and medium-aged cheeses, performing best when served around 16-18 °C. Opening it an hour before or decanting it softens the tannins and enhances aromatic richness. It’s a Rosso di Montalcino that speaks of immediacy and substance, ideal for those seeking an authentic, characterful sip without excess.
