Advice to enjoy this wine at its best.

Let’s talk about Rosso IGT Perlhofer - Magnum - Cassa di Legno - Ritterhof

More questions

A Rosso IGT that presents a decisive yet measured character, ideal for those seeking a rich sip without excess. The color is deep ruby; on the nose it develops notes of small red and black berries, with spicy nuances and a light hint of dark chocolate that compose a pleasant, straightforward bouquet. On the palate it shows good substance: tannins are present but rounded, with a balance between freshness and alcoholic warmth and a salinity that supports the finish, leaving the palate clean and stimulating. Readily enjoyable, it also shows scope for further evolution in bottle.

The magnum bottle presented in a wooden case enhances both preservation and visual impact, perfect as a gift or to open in company. It pairs well with traditional dishes such as roasts, grilled meats and aged cheeses; a serving temperature of around 16-18 °C is recommended to appreciate its complexity. A candid and inviting wine, capable of accompanying conviviality and hearty meals with simple satisfaction.

Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the vicinity of Lago di Caldaro, in the heart of Alto Adige/Trentino-Alto Adige, along the Strada del Vino n.1. The production areas include morainic slopes and hills situated at approximately 320–450 metres above sea level, with the sandy and gravelly soils typical of the lake basin.
