The Rosso "Teodosio" Aglianico del Vulture DOC from Basilisco is a wine that expresses the character of Aglianico in a recognisable but measured way. In the glass it shows an intense ruby colour with violet highlights; on the nose it opens with a profile of ripe red fruit, cherry and plum, accompanied by earthy and spicy notes that remain balanced. The structure is saline and the tannins are present but well integrated, contributing a sense of body without excess; the acidity supports the drinking experience by maintaining freshness and ease.

It pairs with medium to hearty dishes: stews, red meats, roasts and aged cheeses find a good balance with this wine. A cool but not cold serving temperature is recommended to bring out its aromas; after opening, allow it to oxygenate in the bottle for a few minutes. It suits both convivial family dinners and more elaborate meals. Ideal for those seeking a straightforward, territorial and versatile red for the table.
