Tuscan Red of Villa Antinori comes from the fruit ofthe concentration of the best characteristics contained in the grape varieties of Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvingon, Merlot and Syrah, in the same bottle.

The harvest takes place between the end of September and the first days of October, the bunches are then subjected to soft pressing and the must transferred to steel tanks where fermentation takes place, with maceration on the skins for 8-12 days. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages in oak barrels and subsequently in bottles before being placed on the market.

It has an intense ruby red colour. It offers the nose a complex bouquet in which hints of ripe fruit prevail, among which cherry and plum stand out, accompanied by a delicate vanilla aroma mixed with aromatic nuances of pepper. In the mouth it is full-bodied and round, a sip that denotes velvety, soft and sweet tannins that gives a pleasantly long and savory finish.

Excellent to accompany dishes based on red meats and game.

Un Villa Antinori che ho voluto provare quando ho visto il blend di uve di cui è composto, l’ho trovato veramente buono, corposo e con tannini morbidi
