Avvoltore by Morisfarms is a red wine labelled Toscana IGT. The available information does not specify the vintage, grape varieties or production details, so this description remains deliberately factual and does not assign undocumented aromas, structure or ageing methods to the wine. The name identifies a bottle in the Morisfarms range, while the Toscana IGT classification states its declared category without, on its own, revealing the precise blend or style. It is an option to consider for anyone looking for a Tuscan red and happy to discover its character through tasting.

At the table, it can be suggested alongside flavourful dishes such as grilled meat or roasts, as well as pasta with rich sauces. These are general pairing ideas: the best choice may vary with the recipe and personal preferences. To enjoy it, serve it in a suitable red-wine glass and include it in a meal whose flavours do not overwhelm the wine. A bottle for a convivial dinner when you would like to serve a wine from Tuscany labelled IGT, without assuming a particular grape variety or a specific tasting profile.

Morisfarms – Winery in Tuscany, Maremma

Discover the story and wines of Morisfarms.

A wine estate owned by the Moris family, with properties in the Tuscan Maremma. It produces Avvoltore, its flagship wine, marketed as Toscana Rosso IGT.
Region: Tuscany, Maremma
Country: Italy
Winery history
The Moris family has farmed its estates in the Maremma for generations. The Poggio La Mozza estate was founded in 1971; Adolfo Parentini created Avvoltore in 1988.
Production philosophy
The estate focuses on quality and expressing the Maremma terroir. Avvoltore is made from Sangiovese, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah grown on the clay-limestone soils of the hill of the same name; it is bottled only in vintages considered favourable.
Terroir and vineyards
The family owns the historic Tenuta Poggetti near Massa Marittima and the Poggio La Mozza estate in the Scansano area. Both are in the Tuscan Maremma.
