The Sancerre "Château de Thauvenay" from Langlois-Château is another splendid example of how the unique terroir of the Loire region can express itself through the Sauvignon Blanc grape, offering a wine of great elegance and complexity. Langlois-Château, a winery with deep roots in the Loire winemaking tradition and linked to the Bollinger family, is known for its dedication to producing wines that faithfully reflect the identity of their terroir.

Located in the heart of the Sancerre appellation, the "Château de Thauvenay" benefits from climatic conditions and soils that are ideal for the cultivation of Sauvignon Blanc. These vineyards are located on limestone hills, rich in limestone, which give the wine a marked minerality and a balanced structure, distinctive characteristics of the best Sancerre.

Winemaking is carried out with the aim of preserving the purity and freshness of the grapes. After a manual harvest, the grapes are delicately pressed and the must ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks, to keep the varietal characteristics and aromatic expression of the Sauvignon Blanc intact. The wine does not undergo aging in wood, to preserve its freshness and aromatic liveliness.

Sancerre "Château de Thauvenay" has a bright straw yellow color, with green reflections that suggest its youth and freshness. On the nose, the wine unfolds a wide range of aromas, with notes of white pulp fruits, such as apple and pear, citrus accents and floral nuances, combined with a distinctive minerality that evokes flint.

In the mouth, the wine is elegant and well balanced, with a lively acidity that supports its structure and enhances its fruity and mineral flavours. The aromatic persistence is remarkable, with a long and clean finish that leaves the palate refreshed and satisfied.

Ideal in combination with a variety of dishes, especially seafood, grilled fish, fresh goat cheese and light starters, the Sancerre "Château de Thauvenay" by Langlois-Château is a wine that enchants with its elegance, its complexity and its ability to represent the essence of Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc, making it a fine choice for any occasion.
