The Sangiovese di Romagna DOC "Riserva Avi" from San Patrignano shows a bright ruby color, with intensity typical of the variety. On the nose it offers aromas of ripe red fruit — cherry and raspberry — accompanied by hints of undergrowth and light spice that appear with aeration. On the palate it displays good freshness, present but balanced tannins and a structure that supports the fruit; the finish leans toward fruity memories and a pleasant saline note.

Serve slightly cool for red wine (around 16–18 °C); a short period of aeration can help open the aromas more quickly. It pairs with traditional dishes such as roasts, sauced mains and aged cheeses, but is also suitable for everyday meals. A suitable choice for those seeking a straightforward, characterful wine; it also accompanies mushroom dishes, light game and rustic pizzas. Store in a cool, dark place.
