In the glass it shows a lovely light ruby color, typical of Sangiovese from the Rubicone: aromas of fresh cherry, ripe raspberry and a slight floral note reminiscent of violet, accompanied by a hint of Mediterranean herbs and a delicate sweet spice. The olfactory impression is clean and immediate, not overly complex but convincing for its clarity and balance; the wine displays energy and freshness without sacrificing a pleasant softness, conveying the varietal character in a straightforward and enjoyable way.

On the palate it confirms the promise of the nose: juicy, with good acidity and well-balanced tannins and a slightly silky texture that supports the sip without weighing it down. The body is medium, sapidity and freshness drive toward a persistent and pleasant finish; it benefits from a short exposure to air before serving. It pairs naturally with everyday dishes — tomato-based pastas, roasted white meats, cured meats and medium-aged cheeses — and finds its place at informal dinners or in regional flavor pairings. Serve at around 16-18 °C.
