The Sauvignon Alto Adige DOC "Merus" from Tiefenbrunner offers a clear, immediate aromatic profile, with predominant herbaceous and vegetal notes typical of the variety, accompanied by fresh citrus and white-flower hints. On the nose there are echoes of freshly cut grass, grapefruit and white peach, balanced by a mineral thread that provides precision. On the palate it shows a lean structure, lively acidity and a savory finish that invites another sip without feeling excessive or heavy. The acidic tension is paired with a pleasant texture that extends the wine's persistence.

It pairs well with fish-based appetizers, vegetable dishes and fresh cheeses, enhancing simple yet carefully prepared dishes. Recommended to serve chilled in a relatively large glass to allow the bouquet to open; it can also work as an aperitif wine on warm days. Suitable for those seeking a Sauvignon with a linear, clean profile, best consumed relatively soon but capable of maintaining balance in the glass.
