Cloudy Bay is a famous New Zealand winery founded by David Hoehenen, an Australian winemaker who, after drinking a Sauvignon Blanc produced in New Zealand, decided to buy a vineyard of his own in those areas. His first Sauvignon was awarded in London as the best in the world. Cloudy Bay has now passed into the ownership of LVMH, a multinational company that is undisputedly synonymous with the highest quality and luxury worldwide. Its excellent Sauvignon has become its absolute symbol, a wine capable of expressing all the warmth and extreme strength of that distant land.

In the glass it has a light golden color with greenish reflections. Intense fruity aromas of mango, lime and passion fruit arrive on the nose, followed by aromas of mint and sage which are combined with notes of boxwood and flint undergrowth, and a pinch of white pepper. The sip is in perfect harmony with the olfactory profile, very soft and savory, well accompanied by the fragrant fruity acidity that leads to a long finish.

It is recommended to combine it with raw fish and shellfish; excellent pairing with seasoned first courses with light and refined sauces such as risotto with salmon and lemon.
