More questions
This Sauvignon Collio DOC from Venica, from Ronco D.Cerò, shows a fresh and immediate profile. On the nose there are herbal notes and white-fleshed fruit, with citrus hints that do not overpower the whole. On the palate it is slim, with good acidity and a slightly saline finish that invites another sip. It is a wine that favors precision and clarity, suitable for those seeking a characterful white without excess.
It pairs easily with fish dishes, shellfish and light appetizers, and also stands up to herb-based vegetarian preparations and grilled vegetables. Serve chilled, around 8–10 °C, in wide glasses to appreciate the aromas. It suits informal meals and convivial moments when a wine that accompanies without weighing down is desired. For those who like to experiment, try it with fresh, unripened soft cheeses or lightly seasoned first courses. It is also well suited to sharing with friends.
