This 2023 Sauvignon produced by the renowned Specogna winery represents the true essence of the Friuli Colli Orientali region. Characterized by a straw yellow color with greenish reflections, the wine reveals an intense and persistent bouquet on the nose, where notes of white flowers, tropical fruits, and a light herbaceous hint typical of the Sauvignon variety stand out. On the palate, the freshness is well balanced by a medium-bodied structure and a persistent minerality that reflects the richness of the Friulian soil. This wine pairs wonderfully with fish dishes, shellfish, and can be an excellent companion for a refined aperitif or spicy vegetarian dishes. The Specogna winery, with its long tradition and attention to detail, guarantees superior quality that is reflected in every sip of this exemplar.

Winery history
The Specogna family is closely linked to the hills of Rocca Bernarda: according to official sources, Leonardo Specogna purchased the first plot in 1963, and the estate gradually evolved from a mixed subsistence operation into a producer of quality wines. Today the estate continues with the new generation, including Cristian and Michele, who have brought international visibility to the winery.
Production philosophy
The estate aims to express the character of the terroir through vineyard and cellar choices focused on quality: attention to the soil and vineyard location, careful harvesting, and winemaking designed to preserve varietal and regional identity. It also promotes projects related to sustainability and the cultural promotion of wine.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located on the hills of Rocca Bernarda in the Colli Orientali del Friuli. The soils mentioned for some wines are composed of marl and sandstone with hillside exposure, elements that contribute to the distinctive character of the wines produced.
