The Savigny-lès-Beaune "Hauts Marconnets" by Domaine Chanson is a rare pearl from Burgundy, which captures the essence of Pinot Noir in one of its most fascinating territorial expressions. Domaine Chanson, one of Beaune's historic houses, is renowned for its ability to produce wines that accurately reflect the distinctive character of individual vineyards, thanks to rigorous viticultural practices and a winemaking approach that places emphasis on fruit purity and expression of terroir.

The "Hauts Marconnets" are located in the upper part of the Savigny-lès-Beaune appellation, on south-east facing slopes which benefit from optimal climatic conditions for the ripening of Pinot Noir grapes. This privileged position, combined with the calcareous and gravelly nature of the soil, helps to give the wine an elegant structure and notable aromatic complexity.

The winemaking follows traditional Burgundian principles, with delicate fermentation and aging in French oak barriques, some of which are new, for a period that varies according to the vintage, but which usually does not exceed 18 months. This maturation process allows the wine to develop a richness of flavor and tannic softness without losing the freshness and liveliness typical of Pinot Noir.

Visually, Savigny-lès-Beaune "Hauts Marconnets" has a brilliant ruby red color, with nuances that tend towards garnet as it evolves in the bottle. On the nose, it stands out for an intensely aromatic bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits such as cherries and raspberries, floral accents of violet and peony, and a light spiciness given by the aging in wood.

In the mouth, the wine is finely structured, with silky tannins and a well-balanced acidity that supports its elegance and drinkability. Red fruit flavors blend with earthy and mineral notes, typical of the Savigny-lès-Beaune terroir, leading to a long and harmonious finish.

Ideal in combination with delicate red meats, roast poultry, mushroom dishes and soft cheeses, the Savigny-lès-Beaune "Hauts Marconnets" by Domaine Chanson is a wine that elegantly expresses the nobility of Burgundian Pinot Noir, offering a profound and memorable tasting experience.
