Tal Luc comes from an almost pure ancient Friulian grape, dried on racks for 120/130 days in a conditioned environment and without mold formation. The production system, over the years, has remained essentially the same. The slowness and gradualness of the drying are the real secret of the quality of this wine.
The grapes are grown with organic fertilization and integrated phytosanitary defense with the abolition of chemical weeding; once it has reached the right degree of ripeness, it is then carefully selected and harvested by hand. After the harvest, the grapes are left to dry for a period of 120/130 days in a conditioned environment. The cuvée ferments and ages in constantly new 225-litre French oak barriques, where the sweetness, the very fine acidity and the spices take over the wood, creating a spectacular, typically Mediterranean aromatic framework. Unfiltered. This is followed by bottling and aging in the bottle for a minimum of 12 months.
Its golden yellow color is captivating, while on the palate it delights the full but not cloying taste, the harmonious balance between sweetness, sapidity and minerality, and a long, persistent and exciting finish.
Excellent with aged cheeses or in the company of a good book. A glass of Tal Luc, the workhorse of the Lis Neris winery, ensures a drink of great quality and uniqueness to be savored with care.
