The Toscana IGT Poggio ai Ginepri - Magnum from Tenuta Argentiera represents an excellent example of how international grape varieties can best express the unique characteristics of the Tuscan terroir. This wine is produced in the renowned area of Bolgheri, famous for its ability to create wines with great structure and complexity.

The Magnum bottle, with its 1.5-liter capacity, is ideal for sharing the tasting experience on special occasions. The Poggio ai Ginepri cuvée is mainly composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Syrah, grape varieties that give the wine a rich and intensely fruity aromatic profile. The carefully selected grapes undergo fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by a maturation period in barriques that adds complexity and harmony to the final blend.

Visually, it presents a vibrant ruby red color. On the nose, it is a triumph of aromas, with notes of ripe red fruit such as cherries and plums, enriched by hints of sweet spices and a delicate touch of vanilla, derived from aging in wood. On the palate, the wine is robust, with well-structured tannins and a perfect balance between acidity and alcohol. The finish is long and persistent, with a lingering aftertaste that recalls the fruity and spicy aromas perceived on the nose.

Ideal for accompanying grilled or stewed red meat dishes, the Toscana IGT Poggio ai Ginepri also pairs wonderfully with aged cheeses and dishes rich in intense flavors. The recommended serving temperature is between 16 and 18°C to bring out all its nuances. This wine not only delights the palate but is also an example of Tuscan winemaking savoir-faire, representing a premium choice for lovers of high-quality Italian wines.
