Totma Pinot Nero Rubicone IGT from Tenuta Mara offers a Pinot Noir with a measured, refined character. In the glass it appears clear, of pale ruby color, with aromas recalling fresh cherry, raspberry and light floral notes; there is a subtle spicy streak that adds depth without weighing it down. On the palate it is pleasantly easy-drinking: freshness accompanies a thin, silky tannic texture, the body remains medium but well balanced by its sapidity and a returning fruitiness that lengthens the finish.

It is a wine that favors drinkability and stylistic precision, suitable for everyday consumption but also for more carefully prepared, convivial dinners. Served around 14–16 °C, it finds natural pairings with savory first courses, white meats, mushrooms and not-overly-aged cured meats; it holds up well with dishes in light sauces or with fresh cheeses. A Pinot Noir that speaks clearly, without artifice, intended for those seeking understated elegance and pleasant persistence.

Winery history
The Tenuta Mara project was initiated by entrepreneur Giordano Emendatori and developed as an enterprise combining viticulture, art and music. The estate was established in the early 2000s and began wine production in the early 2010s; ownership is now represented by the Emendatori family and technical management is entrusted to winemaker Leonardo Pironi.
Production philosophy
Biodynamic viticulture with minimal intervention, hand-harvested grapes and a focus on biodiversity; winemaking with spontaneous fermentations and decisions aimed at preserving terroir expression and sensory finesse. The estate also values art and music, integrating them into the care of the vineyards and the estate's premises.
Terroir and vineyards
