The "Tralcio Rosso" from Borgo Lame, produced by Cantine Povero, embodies the elegance and tradition of Piedmont, a region renowned for its rich wine heritage. This intriguing red is a harmonious blend of predominantly native grapes, reflecting the passion and craftsmanship of the producer.

Dressed in a deep ruby red, Tralcio Rosso offers a complex bouquet on the nose, dominated by notes of ripe red fruits such as cherries and plums, enhanced by spicy nuances and subtle hints of vanilla and leather, a result of skillful aging in barrique. On the palate, the wine has a robust yet balanced structure, with mature and velvety tannins leading to a persistent and pleasantly aromatic finish.

Ideal for pairing with rich and structured dishes, Tralcio Rosso marries beautifully with grilled red meats, roasts, and aged cheeses. Its versatility makes it perfect for special evenings or for enhancing a casual dinner with friends and family.

Carefully produced at Cantine Povero, a winery that has preserved and handed down the Piedmontese winemaking art for generations, this wine represents a true treasure for wine lovers, combining tradition and innovation. Serve it at a temperature of about 18°C to enhance all its qualities. Each sip of Tralcio Rosso captures the authentic and unmistakable taste of the Borgo Lame terroir.

Winery history
The Povero family has been rooted in the Piedmont region since the first half of the 19th century: land purchased in 1837, grandfather Bartolomeo planted vineyards in 1948, and in 1964 the sons began bottling under the family name. In the years that followed the estate expanded, and from the late 1990s it undertook conversion to organic viticulture, completed with certification covering the main vineyards.
Production philosophy
Sustainability and respect for the land guide the company's practices: organic vineyard management, conservation of woodlands to support biodiversity, and cellar practices aimed at reducing environmental impact while preserving the expressive character of the grape varieties.
Terroir and vineyards
Based in Cisterna d'Asti, at the crossroads of the Langhe, Roero and Monferrato, with varied soils that characterize both white and red wines typical of Piedmont.
