Valtellina Superiore DOCG Valgella - Vigna Fracia - Nino Negri is a refined and complex expression of Nebbiolo, the emblematic vine of Valtellina, cultivated with dedication on the terraces that characterize this mountainous region of Lombardy. The Nino Negri winery, recognized for its tradition and innovation in the production of quality wines, carefully selects the grapes from Vigna Fracia, one of the most renowned parcels in the Valgella sub-area, to create a wine that reflects the essence and character of the local terroir.

This wine, with its intense garnet red color and reflections that tend towards ruby with aging, offers the nose a rich aromatic range. Notes of ripe red fruits, such as cherries and plums, stand out, together with floral hints of rose and violet, enriched by spicy accents and a light mineral note, testimony to the specificity of the Valtellina soil. The aging in wood helps to give the wine structure and complexity, adding delicate nuances of vanilla and tobacco.

On the palate it presents a balanced fusion of power and elegance. The finely woven tannins combine harmoniously with the typical acidity of Nebbiolo, leading to a long and persistent finish that recalls the flavors and aromas perceived on the nose, with a pleasant mineral vein that gives freshness and drinkability.

Ideal in combination with red meat dishes, game and mature cheeses, this wine also lends itself magnificently as a companion to moments of conviviality and meditation, revealing its complexity and its ability to evolve and improve over time.
