The Verdicchio di Jesi DOC Superiore L'Insolito from Vicari shows a bright straw-yellow color with green-tinged reflections. On the nose it offers a subtle yet structured aromatic profile, with notes of white-fleshed fruit, field flowers and light hints of bitter almond that support the whole without overwhelming. The palate is focused, with good acidity and a body that carries savory aromas and a discreet mineral feel; the finish remains on fruity tones with a slight almond-like trace. Complexity and freshness coexist in a balanced way, making the wine pleasant in its youthful expression.

It pairs well with fish dishes, shellfish, seafood soups and pasta with delicate sauces; it also suits white meats and fresh cheeses. To highlight its characteristics, serve at around 10–12 °C in a tulip glass that enhances the aromas. L'Insolito from Vicari is a measured offering, intended for those seeking a characterful Verdicchio di Jesi DOC Superiore, versatile at the table and suitable for informal, convivial occasions.
