The Verdicchio di Matelica DOC from the "Vigneti del Cerro" line, produced by the renowned Belisario winery, represents an excellent example of how the unique terroir of the Marche region can be expressed through the Verdicchio grape. This white wine stands out for its freshness and aromatic complexity, the result of a careful selection of the grapes and meticulous vinification.

The color of the Verdicchio di Matelica "Vigneti del Cerro" is a bright straw yellow with greenish highlights, typical of the Verdicchio grape. On the nose, it offers a rich and inviting bouquet, with notes of white flowers such as chamomile and broom, enriched by hints of white-fleshed fruits like green apple and pear, and a slight mineral touch reminiscent of wet stone.

On the palate, the wine demonstrates excellent structure, balanced by lively acidity that provides freshness and longevity. The olfactory sensations are replicated, with pleasant continuity and persistence of the fruity and floral flavors, culminating in a clean and refreshing finish.

Ideal as an aperitif, this Verdicchio di Matelica pairs wonderfully with light appetizers, seafood dishes, and grilled vegetables. It is also a great companion for pasta dishes with light sauces and fresh cheeses.

The Belisario winery, with its deep knowledge and respect for the territory, has created a Verdicchio di Matelica that not only expresses the typicity of the grape but also the uniqueness of its terroir, making it a must for enthusiasts of high-quality Italian white wines.
