Bastianich's Vespa Rosso IGT is a fascinating interpretation of the winemaking potential of Friuli Venezia Giulia, created by expertly combining native and international varieties. This wine represents the Bastianich family's vision of creating a red that expresses the complexity, structure and elegance, distinctive characteristics of the wines of this renowned winery.

Produced mainly with Merlot and Refosco grapes, to which Cabernet Franc and Cabernet Sauvignon are added in some years, Vespa Rosso reflects an ambition to blend the unique varietal qualities of these grapes, enhancing their ability to adapt and express themselves in the territory Friulian. The fermentation and refinement in French oak barriques give the wine a solid and complex structure, enriching it with aromatic nuances that range from notes of ripe red fruit to spicy and balsamic ones, with an elegant background of vanilla and tobacco.

Visually, Vespa Rosso shows an intense and deep red color, with reflections that tend towards garnet with aging. On the nose, the wine opens with a rich and complex aroma, dominated by aromas of cherry, plum and blackberry, integrated by notes of black pepper, chocolate and a light touch of aromatic herbs, which testify to the richness of the blend and the care taken in its maturation.

In the mouth, Vespa Rosso demonstrates great structure and notable concentration, balanced by ripe and soft tannins and well-integrated acidity, which gives freshness and dynamism to the sip. The flavors of ripe fruit intertwine with accents of sweet spices and toasted notes, leading to a long and persistent finish, with a pleasant mineral vein that enriches the complexity of the wine.

Ideal in combination with red meats, game dishes, mature cheeses and elaborate cuisine, Bastianich's Vespa Rosso IGT is an excellent choice for lovers of red wines with character, who seek in a glass the expression of a unique terroir and the passion of a family that has made quality and innovation the pillars of its production philosophy.
