Vigna Guarnaschelli Nero d'Avola clearly expresses the Mediterranean character of the variety: in the glass it shows an intense ruby color and aromas centered on ripe red and black fruit, with slight hints of plum and cherry. Spicy accents and herbal notes that recall the Sicilian maquis then appear, without ever overloading the aromatic profile; the result is immediate yet complex, suited both to those seeking pleasure and to those who appreciate a certain depth.

On the palate the wine is full and enveloping, with polished tannins and a freshness that maintains balance, supported by a salinity that lengthens the finish. It is an easy-drinking Nero d'Avola, versatile at the table: it pairs with grilled meats, rustic sauces and aged cheeses, but also stands up well to more intense Mediterranean dishes. Serve at around 16–18 °C; it can benefit from a few minutes of aeration to open up further.
