Consumption Excellent with desserts, aged cheeses
In the glass it shows a deep ruby color with dark reflections and a bouquet of ripe fruit, notes of plum and cherry preserved in spirit, hints of sweet spice and a touch of cocoa. The olfactory impact is immediate but not overpowering; the sweetness is well balanced by a vibrant acidity and a subtle tannic weave that provides structure and drive; the body is medium-full and the overall elegance invites the next sip.

On the palate it is full and enveloping, with a silky texture and a good dose of alcoholic warmth that conveys a sense of substance rather than aggressiveness; the finish is long, savory and leaves remarkable traces of ripe fruit and spices. Excellent for contemplative sipping, it also pairs well with blue cheeses, dark chocolate or dry pastries; serve slightly chilled, around 12-14 °C. It opens up nicely if left a few minutes in the glass, showing progressive softness and persistence.
