The Vinsobres Rouge from Chaume Arnaud represents an exemplary expression of the winemaking of the Vinsobres region, renowned for its ability to produce elegant and structured red wines. This particular red is made primarily with Grenache and Syrah grapes, following organic farming methods that respect the terroir and the integrity of the environment.

The color of this wine is a deep ruby red, promising an intense sensory experience. On the nose, lively notes of ripe red fruit, sweet spices, and a light herbal touch reminiscent of the Mediterranean scrubland unfold. In the mouth, the Vinsobres Rouge shows a beautiful structure with well-integrated tannins that accompany a persistent and aromatic finish, dominated by shades of forest berries and black pepper.

It is a wine that pairs perfectly with robust dishes such as meat stews, mushroom-based dishes, or aged cheeses. The complexity and elegance of this Vinsobres also make it an excellent candidate for aging over several years, evolving beautifully in a collector's cellar. This cuvée expresses all the typicality and character of the Vinsobres appellation, offering an unforgettable experience with every sip.

Vineyards clustered around Vinsobres and Saint-Maurice-sur-Eygues. Approximately 38 hectares in total under vine. Organic production and biodynamic practices in place since 2004; AB and Demeter certified since 2009. The Vinsobres cuvée is considered the estate's flagship and accounts for a large share of its production. Extensive use of typical Rhône varieties and local white varieties.
Winery history
Valérie Chaume-Arnaud established the winery in 1987 by leasing 4.5 hectares from her family; her husband Philippe joined the business in 1989. In the years that followed the property was reassembled and the vineyard expanded to its current size; their son Thibaud joined the estate in 2011, and the winery was expanded in 2019 to meet demand.
Production philosophy
The estate places strong emphasis on soil stewardship and the regeneration of agricultural ecosystems: it practices organic farming and has introduced biodynamic methods since 2004. The products have been AB and Demeter certified since 2009, and choices in the vineyard and cellar aim to express the terroir with balance and naturalness.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located on clay-limestone slopes and stony soils around Vinsobres and Saint-Maurice-sur-Eygues, with south–southeast exposures and elevations reaching about 400 m. The area benefits from the local Pontias wind, which brings diurnal temperature variation and promotes freshness and vine health.
