On the palate it delivers a rounded entry and an orderly progression, with echoes that may suggest honey, fruit flesh and a vanilla-like sweetness; wood influence is present but controlled, contributing to a warm, persistent finish. Recommended to serve at room temperature in a tulip glass to capture its nuances; it lends itself to contemplative drinking, perhaps paired with dry pastries or aged cheeses.
