The Whisky Distillers Edition from Oban, presented in a 70 cl boxed format, is an evenly balanced bottle suitable both for tasting and as a gift. On the nose it offers scents of ripe fruit and honey, accompanied by a hint of salinity and a light smoky note that form a harmonious profile. On the palate it shows a medium body, with warm, enveloping flavors that evolve into returns of dried fruit and delicate spices; the finish is persistent without being intrusive.

Best enjoyed neat or with a small dash of water to open the aromas, it also benefits from a tulip glass to better capture olfactory nuances. It pairs well with dark chocolate, flavorful cheeses or dishes based on roasted and smoked meats.
