Dun Cana Sherry Quarter Cask, from the Isle of Raasay, presents a warm, concentrated profile: on the nose there are notes of dried fruit (raisins and figs), dark caramel and a hint of dark chocolate, supported by sweet spices and a slight toasting of the wood. The use of quarter casks enhances extraction, giving a more pronounced tannic texture and an aromatic intensity that never bores, while a subtle marine accent fades into the background, creating a refined, distinctive whole and an elegant balance between sweetness and spice.

On the palate the sip is rounded, with measured warmth and a fine structure: the sweetness of the sherry melds with bitter notes of cocoa and orange peel, the sapidity helps keep the balance fresh and the finish remains satisfying. It lends itself to slow tasting, ideal with dark chocolate or aged cheeses; it also pairs with roasted meats and mushroom dishes; thanks to the presentation box it is also conceived as an elegant gift. Serve in a tulip glass to fully capture the aromas.
