Floki Iceland Birch Finish is a whisky that plays on the balance between structure and aromatic detail. On the nose it presents a balsamic, resinous profile, with hints of bark, sweet tar and a light smokiness reminiscent of birch wood smoke; warm notes of vanilla and honey also emerge, sweetening the picture without weighing it down. The palate is enveloping, with pleasant roundness and controlled warmth: a saline element and a faint menthol note support the drink, which stays clean and upright through a medium-long finish.

This character makes it versatile at the table: it pairs well with dark chocolate, aged cheeses and grilled or lightly smoked meats, or suits a convivial moment after dinner. Serve neat in a tulip glass or with a small ice cube to soften it, and allow a few moments for the aromas to open; an interesting choice for those seeking an original, clear finish without excess.
