This twenty-five-year-old Arran single malt offers a mature, measured profile: the long time in wood emerges gracefully without overpowering the freshness of the character. On the nose there are dried fruit, honey and candied citrus peel, accompanied by light notes of vanilla and a subtle sweet spiciness; a slight toastiness adds depth while keeping everything elegant. The palate is full and silky, well balanced between softness and structure, with fine tannins and a long, persistent finish that leaves a warm, clean impression. Recommended at room temperature in a tulip glass, with a drop of water to further open the aromas if desired.

It suits reflective after-dinner moments and pairs well with dark chocolate, nut-based dry pastries or aged cheeses; the 70 cl bottle, presented in its accompanying wooden case, makes it a prestigious gift and a collector’s piece for those who appreciate complex, refined single malts.
