Tamnavulin 2015, 8 years from the Speyside presented by Douglas Laing in the Provenance line, shows a bright, well-defined character. On the nose there are fruity notes of apple and pear, light hints of honey and a cereal sweetness that stays clean and never overbearing; the palate is soft, balanced in structure, with a texture that alternates freshness and a subtle spiciness, finishing with a gentle persistence that invites a second sip. Its relatively young age is noticeable in the liveliness and clarity of the aromas.

Excellent served neat or with a drop of water to open the aromas, it pairs well with dark chocolate, dry pastries or medium-aged cheeses; it also works well as a light digestif after dinner. The presentation box makes it an elegant choice for a gift or for those looking for a young, straightforward, everyday-drinkable Speyside, able to accompany informal moments without pretension and with style.
