The story
The history associated with the Carúpano name dates back to the founding of Hacienda Altamira in the Macarapana valley in 1762; the modern company Destilería Carúpano, C.A. was established in 1954. Over time the brand has specialized in aged rums, launching premium lines and vintage collections and earning international recognition.
Production philosophy
