Family-owned winery in the Langhe and Roero (Piedmont) producing Barolo DOCG and other typical local wines, with a strong connection to the land and to family tradition.
The Grimaldi family has been present in the Barolo area since 1930, when an ancestor purchased a farmhouse and several vineyards. The company’s current identity under the "Giacomo Grimaldi" label began when Ferruccio Grimaldi started bottling and producing wines in 1996. In subsequent years the family acquired vineyards in the municipalities of Barolo, Novello, Vezza d’Alba and Monforte d’Alba, bringing the total estate to 18 hectares, according to the company. Management has remained family-run, with the new generation now involved.
