Giacomo Grimaldi’s Roero Arneis DOC 2025 shows a luminous pale straw color with greenish reflections, a graceful expression of the variety. On the nose it is fragrant without being overpowering: white flowers, peach and a hint of pear sit alongside citrus touches and a subtle almond note that defines its profile. The impression is of controlled freshness and finesse, with modest persistence that delivers a fresh, slightly herbaceous aftertaste—ideal for those seeking a balanced, easy-drinking white.

On the palate the wine retains momentum thanks to good acidity and a sapidity that pushes toward a clean finish, where a pleasant mineral note lingers; the body is medium, soft in the mid-palate but supported by structure. It pairs naturally with fish starters, shellfish, delicate risottos and grilled vegetables, and is also perfect as an aperitif wine. Serve chilled, around 10–12 °C, to appreciate its aromatic clarity and inviting drinkability.

The company’s current identity under the "Giacomo Grimaldi" label began when Ferruccio Grimaldi started bottling and producing wines in 1996. In subsequent years the family acquired vineyards in the municipalities of Barolo, Novello, Vezza d’Alba and Monforte d’Alba, bringing the total estate to 18 hectares, according to the company. Management has remained family-run, with the new generation now involved.
