Historic Chianti Classico estate located between Florence and Siena, known for Cepparello (pure Sangiovese) and for producing Chianti Classico DOCG, Toscana IGT wines, Vin Santo and extra virgin olive oil. (https://www.isoleeolena.it/en/)
The name comes from the union of two neighboring villages, Isole and Olena. The estate was acquired by the De Marchi family in the 1950s and saw modern development under Paolo De Marchi from the late 1970s. The estate introduced Cepparello in 1980 and has produced Chianti Classico since 1969; in 2022 the property was acquired by the EPI group.
