The Traminer Aromatico Friuli Isonzo DOC produced by Tenuta Villanova is a white wine that captivates with its distinctive aromaticity and complexity. Originating from the renowned region of Friuli Venezia Giulia, this wine is an excellent example of the high standards of quality and attention to detail that Tenuta Villanova dedicates to the production of its wines.

Characterized by a straw-yellow color with golden reflections, Tenuta Villanova's Traminer Aromatico offers an intensely aromatic and captivating bouquet to the nose. Notes of rose, lychee, honey, and a hint of sweet spices such as cinnamon and clove are discernible at the first olfactory approach, seducing the taster with a rich and persistent olfactory experience.

On the palate, the freshness is balanced by a soft and enveloping structure that unfolds into a surprisingly vast palette of flavors. The wine exhibits good acidity that enhances its vivacity, leading to a long and aromatic finish that pervades the palate with fruity and spicy notes, leaving a pleasantly persistent sensation.

Ideal to serve as an aperitif, Tenuta Villanova's Traminer Aromatico also pairs perfectly with light appetizers, flavorful fish dishes, or Asian cuisine, where its intense aromas can skillfully contrast spices and sauces.

With an alcohol content typically around 13%, this wine is recommended to be served at a temperature between 10-12°C to fully appreciate its range of aromas and flavors. A wine that not only represents the typicity of the Traminer varietal but also the essence of the Friulian territory.

Production of still and sparkling wines, as well as distilled spirits. An example of a historic estate focused on vineyard zoning and the enhancement of the crus. Offering guided tours, tastings and wine tourism experiences.
Winery history
The estate’s earliest documentary records date to 1499; over the centuries it has maintained an uninterrupted winemaking presence. In the 20th century the property was acquired by the Bennati family, and today the estate is run by the next generation, which has led a refresh of the brand identity without losing its connection to the historical archive and local tradition.
Production philosophy
The estate emphasizes respect for the land and the enhancement of individual parcels: cultivation follows vineyard zoning and protects the soil’s identity, while in the cellar the approach seeks to interpret with balance the character of the different crus. Alongside wine production, the estate also values the tradition of in‑house distillation.
Terroir and vineyards
The estate stretches from the alluvial plain along the Isonzo to the hills of the Collio, encompassing vineyards located in the Collio DOC and Friuli Isonzo DOC. The estate notes the area is characterized by varied microclimates and soils that contribute to distinct wine profiles.
