La Crotta di Vegneron's Valle d'Aosta DOC Rosé "Merveille" is a bright and seductive expression of the native grape varieties of the Aosta Valley, an Italian region known for its spectacular mountain landscape and for wines that reflect the uniqueness of this alpine terroir. La Crotta di Vegneron, located in the heart of the Valley, is a cooperative that is committed to enhancing local vines, producing wines that are true ambassadors of Aosta Valley wine culture and tradition.

The Rosé "Merveille" is made mainly from Petit Rouge grapes, a typical grape variety of the region, appreciated for its ability to produce fresh, fruity and pleasantly aromatic wines. This rosé captures the essence of Alpine spring and summer, offering a tasting experience that is both refreshing and complex.

Winemaking is aimed at preserving the fresh and lively aromas of the grape variety, with a short cold maceration of the grapes to extract the desired color and aromas, followed by temperature-controlled fermentation. The wine does not undergo aging in wood, to maintain the purity and freshness of the fruit unaltered.

Visually, the Rosé "Merveille" presents itself with a light and delicate pink color, with brilliant nuances that invite tasting. On the nose, it offers an intense and inviting aromatic bouquet, with notes of fresh red fruits, such as strawberries, cherries and raspberries, enriched by floral nuances and a light mineral note, which adds depth and character to the olfactory profile.

In the mouth, the wine is lively and refreshing, with a well-balanced acidity that supports the fruit flavors and enhances their freshness. The texture is soft and harmonious, with a clean and persistent finish, which leaves a pleasant sensation of lightness and satisfaction.

Ideal as an aperitif or as an accompaniment to light starters, fish dishes, white meats and summer salads, the Valle d'Aosta DOC Rosé "Merveille" by La Crotta di Vegneron is an excellent choice for those looking for a wine that combines freshness, aromaticity and a clear expression of the Aosta Valley terroir.
