The Barolo DOCG "Margheria" produced by the Massolino winery is an oenological jewel that represents the essence and complexity of the Serralunga d'Alba territory, in the heart of the Barolo denomination. The Massolino family, with its deep roots in the Piedmont region and a constant commitment to the pursuit of quality, has been able to enhance the unique characteristics of the Margheria vineyard through sustainable viticultural practices and careful winemaking that respects traditions.

The Margheria vineyard stands out for its privileged position and its limestone-clay soil, which gives the wine an extraordinary minerality and structure. The Nebbiolo grapes, harvested manually, are processed with the utmost respect for the fruit, following a philosophy that favors the expression of the terroir and the identity of each vintage.

The vinification of Barolo "Margheria" follows traditional methods, with a long and delicate fermentation, followed by aging in oak barrels of different sizes for a period that can vary from 24 to 30 months. This process allows the wine to develop complexity, elegance and remarkable aging potential.

On the nose, Massolino's Barolo "Margheria" reveals an intense and multi-layered bouquet, with notes of ripe red fruits, violets, spices and subtle hints of tobacco and leather, which blend in an olfactory harmony of great refinement. On the palate, the wine presents itself with a solid structure, supported by fine tannins and a lively acidity which guarantees its balance and long persistence. The distinctive minerality of the Margheria soil is expressed through a finesse and depth of flavor that leaves a lasting impression.

Barolo "Margheria" is a wine that embodies Massolino's philosophy, aimed at producing wines that tell the story of their territory of origin, enhancing the authenticity and uniqueness of each vineyard. Thanks to its elegance, its structure and its aging potential, this Barolo is appreciated by connoisseurs and wine collectors from all over the world, representing an excellent example of the high enological quality that Piedmont can offer.
