The Aglianico Del Vulture DOCG - Divinus from Terra dei Re winery is one of the enological jewels of the Basilicata region. This wine is the result of a careful selection of Aglianico grapes, a variety that finds in the volcanic terroir of Mount Vulture the ideal conditions to express its unique character.

Divinus is a wine of great structure and complexity, which presents itself in the glass with an intense ruby red color, tending to garnet with aging. The nose is caressed by a rich bouquet of aromas, where notes of ripe red fruits, plum, along with nuances of spices, leather, and tobacco stand out, a result of the long aging in barriques.

On the palate, Divinus reveals itself to be powerful yet balanced, with a clearly present yet refined tannic texture, and an acidity that ensures freshness. The flavors of black fruit, dark chocolate, and vanilla blend into a long and persistent finish, inviting one to sip slowly to appreciate all its nuances.

Aged for at least 18 months in wood and subsequently refined in the bottle, this Aglianico del Vulture DOCG is a wine that can be enjoyed today, yet it also has excellent aging potential. It pairs perfectly with intense dishes such as roasts, game, and aged cheeses, enhancing every dish with its robust presence.

The Aglianico Del Vulture DOCG - Divinus from Terra dei Re is an excellent choice for lovers of intense and structured wines, representing an outstanding example of Lucanian winemaking and the passion this winery pours into every bottle.

Winery history
The project began in the early 21st century at the initiative of the Rabasco and Leone families; the first harvests and winemaking date back to the early 2000s. Over the years the estate has developed vineyards in the prime contrade of Monte Vulture and introduced labels such as Divinus, Nocte and Vulcano 800. Since 2018/2019 it has collaborated with winemaker Riccardo Cotarella.
Production philosophy
Production oriented toward respect for the territory and sustainability: precision agriculture practices, emissions reduction, use of photovoltaic systems and rainwater harvesting, with the aim of minimizing the environmental impact of the bottles. The company also states that it was among the first in the wine sector to obtain the Friend of the Earth certification.
Terroir and vineyards
Operations take place on the slopes of Monte Vulture: volcanic soils, a strong diurnal temperature range and varying altitudes that favour the expression of Aglianico, Pinot Nero and white varieties. The winery is part of the DOC Aglianico del Vulture.

The winery and its wines have received numerous national and international recognitions: examples include high scores and mentions in specialized guides, repeated "Tre Bicchieri" awards for the Aglianico "Nocte", as well as prizes for sparkling wines and other labels.
