Description

Nocte, is a 100% Aglianico wine with a ruby red color, precious and imperious, with a complex texture, from night harvest. The Tiberio vineyard is located in Piano di Carro (Barile), on a soil with a volcanic-clayey-tuffaceous composition with an area of 2 hectares.

During the summer of San Martino, in the northern hemisphere in autumn, extremely particular climatic conditions occur, which coincide with the harvest of the Nocte. In this period of the year, very accentuated temperature variations take place which, associated with the night harvest, favor the formation of particular aromatic properties.

The specialized oenologists responsible for the Terra dei Re winery analyzed the properties of the grapes harvested at night, and found an accentuation of the fruity notes in the wine.

A label with a hug will exuberant intensity and softness, with elegant and refined tannins. The hints of dried rose and wild violet blend with intriguing notes of spices, giving an exceptionally velvety finish.

This excellent glass can be paired with grilled beef ribs, red meats in general also with spicy sauces, first courses with truffles, aged cheeses and roasts in the oven.
