The Cannonau di Sardegna DOC Nalboni of Li Duni represents an elegant expression of the island's symbolic grape variety, grown in the renowned territory of Sardinia. This wine is made from Cannonau grapes, known for their robust and Mediterranean character, capable of expressing intense aromas of ripe red fruits, sweet spices, and light earthy notes that evoke the warmth of the Sardinian soil.

The aging takes place in oak barrels, a method that enriches the wine with soft vanilla nuances and balanced tannins, giving it structure and depth. On the palate, it is broad and enveloping, with a persistent finish that leaves a memory of fruit and delicate spicy notes. Perfect to accompany typical dishes of island cuisine such as grilled meats or aged cheeses, this Cannonau knows how to enhance every convivial moment with its authenticity and Mediterranean charm.

Terroir: the hills of Gallura with a maritime influence
Winery history
Cantina Li Duni's production project has been active since 2003 and aims to preserve and enhance the local winemaking tradition of Badesi. The winery revives traditional practices and native grape varieties cultivated on sandy soils, continuing the region's winemaking heritage.
Production philosophy
Practices focused on respect for the land: predominant use of estate-grown grapes, hand harvesting, reduced use of pesticides thanks to sandy soils, and attention to characterizing the wines through indigenous grape varieties and own-rooted vineyards.
Terroir and vineyards
Situated on the hills that slope down towards the Gulf of Asinara, the winery cultivates vineyards on sandy soils near the coast; the maritime microclimate, saline breezes and diurnal temperature range contribute to the wines' sensory characteristics.
