The Passito Veneto IGT "Acininobili" in 375ml format by Maculan is an exemplification of the excellence and craftsmanship in the production of passito wines of the Maculan winery, located in the heart of Veneto. This wine represents the pinnacle of Maculan's range of sweet wines, produced through a rigorous selection process of the best grapes, subjected to slow and controlled drying to concentrate sugars, aromas and flavours. The variety of grapes used for Acininobili, among which Tocai and Sauvignon Blanc stand out, gives the wine a unique complexity and richness.

Maculan's Acininobili is the result of skilful winemaking, which involves the use of small barrels for refinement, capable of enriching the wine with toasted and vanilla aromatic nuances, without overpowering the freshness and purity of the fruit. The care and attention dedicated to each phase of the production process reflects Maculan's commitment to creating dessert wines that are not only expressions of great quality, but also true oenological masterpieces.

In the glass, Acininobili presents itself with an intense golden color, almost amber, which anticipates its richness and intensity. On the nose, the wine offers an extraordinarily complex and enveloping bouquet, with notes of candied fruit, honey, dried apricot and citrus fruits, enriched by touches of sweet spices, vanilla and a light hint of toasting, the result of the elegant passage in wood.

In the mouth, Acininobili reveals a sweetness impeccably balanced by a lively acidity, which maintains its freshness and enhances its drinkability. The intense flavors of candied fruit and honey blend with notes of dried fruit, spices and a subtle mineral touch, creating a palate of extraordinary complexity and length, with a finish that persists, leaving a warm, rich and pleasantly harmonious sensation.

Ideal as a meditation wine or paired with complex desserts, blue cheeses or foie gras, Maculan's Acininobili is a wine that can give unique emotions, capable of concluding every meal or special occasion with elegance and mastery.

In conclusion, Maculan's Acininobili Passito Veneto IGT is a testimony to the art of passito winemaking, a celebration of the Venetian tradition in creating sweet wines of incomparable beauty and depth, the result of the experience, passion and excellence that characterize the Maculan winery.

A production that combines indigenous grape varieties with international varieties. Winery open to visitors, with vintage archives dating back to the late 1970s and a wine club. Commitment to innovation and experimental projects.
Winery history
The winery originated from the Maculan family's winemaking activities in Breganze. The current estate was developed from the business founded by grandfather Giovanni Maculan in 1947. In the 1970s Fausto Maculan led a qualitative transformation of the estate, elevating local wines such as Torcolato and expanding the portfolio with modern expressions of red and white wines. Today management also involves his daughters, continuing a path that combines local tradition with winemaking innovation.
Production philosophy
The winemaking approach combines respect for the territory with experimentation: meticulous care in the vineyard and the cellar, revival of local traditions and attention to modern techniques. The estate emphasizes the identity of Breganze grapes while also using international varieties for a wide range of wine styles.
Terroir and vineyards
The vineyards are located in the DOC Breganze area, on the hills at the foot of the Altopiano di Asiago. The area is characterized by microclimates favorable to ripening and by hillside aspects that influence production, particularly of passito wines made from Vespaiola.
