The Carignano del Sulcis Riserva DOC - Terre Rare by Sella & Mosca is a refined expression of the Carignano grape variety, grown in the evocative lands of Sulcis in Sardinia. This wine stands out for its intense depth of color, a ruby red that tends to garnet as it evolves. On the nose, the bouquet is complex, characterized by notes of ripe berries, plums, subtle hints of spices, and a slight trace of tobacco and chocolate, thanks to the aging in wood.
On the palate, the Carignano del Sulcis Riserva offers a robust yet harmonious structure; the tannins are well-balanced due to the 18 months of aging in oak barrels, which give the wine a pleasant softness without overpowering its original freshness.
