Gran Duque d'Alba Solera Gran Reserva is one of the most renowned distillates of Jerez. A Brandy with spectacular characteristics produced with a selection of carefully selected raw materials.

Gran Duque de Alba is produced with the Solera system, this consists in arranging the oak barrels in overlapping rows, first filling the higher barrels; the following year, part of the contents of the upper barrels is decanted into those of the lower row, while those at the top are topped up with the new wine, rum or brandy, proceeding in the same way from year to year.

A method that allows the wine from the barrels that are at the base, ready for consumption, to be composed of grapes from different vintages and to be enriched with particular flavours. The refinement is carried out for a period of at least three years in ex sherry oak barrels.

In the glass it has a warm dark mahogany color with golden reflections. On the nose it is sumptuous, with hints of leather and old books, sweet aromas of toasted marshmallow and caramel cream are perceived, with notes of pipe tobacco, dried fruit and hints of salted butter. On the palate, the taste is ripe and sweet, with a perfectly balanced finish.
